Convenient location near shops and train station. Friendly staff with limited English. Comfy beds and okay-sized rooms. Limited showers and slow elevator. Tea makers on every floor. Good value for a single room with tatami mat.

The room and facilities were clean. The managers were nice, they let us keep our bags there the whole last day, and gave us umbrellas when it rained. There was wifi in the room.
The room was *very* small, just enough to fit the futon and our bags. The location was all right but to get into the heart of Tokyo you have to walk about 10 minutes to the train and then take a 20+ minute ride to town. For Tokyo, the value seemed all right, but compared to other places the room was just too small.

It was in a convenient location. The room was clean and private. The whole area was quiet. The staff was friendly and showed me around in some English. Though the showers and restrooms were for everyone, you could lock them and it was never crowded. There was wireless internet, tea and hot water on every floor.
It was a bit difficult to find, two turns off the main road, and I had to ask for directions in my basic Japanese. The rooms are also quite small (3-tatami), but I didn't mind that.

Located conveniently near the entrance area of HIMIKO port, it is just a short walk to the nearest train station, providing easy access to the subway station. the rooms are clean and comfortable, with traditional Japanese futons on tatami mats. the private showers and small Japanese bathhouse offer a relaxing experience. there is a great food store just across the street, perfect for grabbing a quick bite.
The check-in process may need improvement, as there were instances of guests having to wait for the receptionist to arrive.

Economical, reasonable location and clean, except the microwave machine is dirty without cleaning.
English understanding is poor and facing problem to communicate while certain enquiries of city information required.

Staff is very friendly and helpfull. It was very easy to find (thanks to hotel's webside we even had photos of every way point), and it's located in 10 minutes from metro and JR stations. There is a large amount of shampoo and soap in showers, and Internet access is very good: fast free wifi and one PC on the first floor.
Very small size of the room! Firstly, it is shocking, but then you get used to it.

Clean, friendly staff, good location, convenient amenities, comfortable rooms. Ground floor shower, small onsen, elevator, tea and hot water available. Green tea dispenser on every floor, open bath for men. A bus stop nearby. Recommended for next visit. Thanks.

It was a traditional japanese hotel which was an experience!!
Being traditional the room is very small. I am six foot and could not lie down full out across the width of the room

Basic but cheap for Tokyo. Tatami mats and futon are perfectly acceptable for sleeping. The in-room fridge was a bonus. Green tea and hot water just down the corridor.
The area has a few characters, but they are harmless - this is super safe Tokyo. It's a ten minute walk to the metro, not too bad except in poor weather. Not many eating places in the immediate area. The toilets and showers are not ensuite, but at this price in Tokyo that is expected. The showers are on the first (ground) floor and there are only two for the whole block.

The hotel is located in a quiet area, away from the city center. It is situated in a sparsely lit street and is near to a convenience store. the Minami-Senju subway station is within walking distance, making it convenient for transportation.
The hotel can be a bit noisy at night, with strange hammer-like sounds and noisy fridges in the rooms.

Great location, budget-friendly with surprisingly nice view from window, helpful staff, no problems with facilities, elevator available, slept better than in more expensive hotel.

Value for money and location, although it isn't in the thriving part of Tokyo city, a short stroll to Mina-Misenju train station gives the traveller access to both the subway and JR train line.
I rated staff and services/facilities as fair only because staff didn't understand English and were not entirely over servicing. Also, I was in need of an iron and was told it had not been returned, with no alternate solution offered. I guess, for what it is, you get what you pay for so overall not dissapointed - it's a good little place for the discerning traveller.

I was welcomed by a nice lady, speaking basic english (very rare in Tokyo!). She explained everything, even giving a small map in case you come back with taxi, and code for entrance in case of coming back late. My room was clean, so was the hotel generally. I stayed only few days so I didn't ask to clean my room. Helpful facilities : microwave, hot water/green tea at every floor (great to prepare yourself a coffee). Laundry not far. Wifi is great !
The location ; quite far from everything in Tokyo (but normal if you want low budget hotel). Only 2 showers for entire hotel (though hotel is not that big), was Ok for me because hotel was quite empty, but when full, it could be a problem Walls very thin, the other guests sometimes don't pay attention of not slamming doors in the morning
